Nostra Signora di Montallegro, called the Shrine of Our Lady of Montallegro, is another place where the tourists are taken. It is situated on a hilltop, in the hinterland of Rapallo and is constructed in white marble. If the time is opportune, the tourists can also get the musical treat of the hymn of ‘Shine Up’, sung in remembrance of this patron saint of Rapallo. A cable car can take you to this place.

Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle Christi that was abandoned due to the pirate attacks was, later on, declared as a National Monument and this led to its full restoration. The ruines of this Monastery tell the tales of pirate attacks to the curious tourists.

Church of Saint Francis is another important landmark which has been painted in the grey and white patterns. This church dates back to the 16th century and it was completely restored to its glory in 20th century.
